Journalism (Period 4)

Our main objective will be writing and publishing the school newspaper. This is a hands on class for and by the students that will focus on all aspects of student life at Sylmar High. Besides interviewing, writing, editing, and researching relevant topics, students will learn about the history of free speech beginning with The First Amendment and how it has affected so many aspects of not only American life but of life throughout the world.
