Meet This Week's Spartan Scholars of the Week!

For the Week of 06.05.2017: Alfredo Mendoza will be graduating this week, and he has been involved in Sylmar activities since his freshman year, including ASB. Alfredo has shown how perseverance and dedication can lead to success in the classroom. He is polite, generous, and honest, attributes that will lead to success. He is well deserving of the Spartan Scholar of the Week award. Frank Garcia has earned the prestigious high honors graduation status. He works diligently in and out of the classroom to maintain success. As an officer in the Science Club, his goal was to inform students of science in the real world. He will be attending University of California at San Diego as a mechanical engineering major this fall. Frank is very personable and well respected by the faculty, a characteristic of a true Spartan Scholar of the Week. For this honor, our scholars' names and photos will be placed on the marquee and on the home page of our web site all week. In addition, our scholars have received a special Spartan Scholar Medallion, a Sylmar limited edition tumbler, a delicious macrobar, and a free meal from Marie Callender’s Bakery.
