Sylmar Neighborhood PartnershipThe Sylmar Neighborhood Partnership (SNP) is a collaborative group of students, parents, teachers, staff, community groups, post-secondary schools, business groups, and on campus service providers that is working to increase the number of students who stay in school, graduate and are prepared for college or other postsecondary educational opportunities. To do this, we focus on four main objectives: - Increasing parent involvement in their children's education - Increasing communication and service coordination among agencies, schools, and community members - Increasing college awareness, access, and eligibility - Increasing student academic skills through academic enrichment The SNP meets approximately biweekly at 1:30 pm in the Faculty Cafeteria. Specific dates can be confirmed on the school calendar. The SNP also publishes a weekly newsletter that can be found at: For more information, visit Jennie Carey in Room 1.
