It was the 10-year anniversary of the infamous 1971 Sylmar earthquake. In 1981 they decided to make an earthquake preparedness film on the campus of Sylmar High. They destroyed the interiors of a couple of the old bungalow classrooms, applied makeup to some of the students to create a few casualties, and had those of us who "survived" the mock earthquake all march out to the football field while someone filmed the event. Does anyone know whatever became of that film because I'd sure like to see it. Perhaps someone can download it onto YouTube.
