Auto Technology Courses

Auto Maintenance and Repairs:  This course is an introduction to the automotive industry including safety practices, shop equipment and tools, vehicle subsystems, service publications, professional responsibilities and basic automotive maintenance. It also includes instructions in tools, equipment, safety, engine designs, cooling systems, lubrication systems, and basic electricity.

 

Auto Repairs 2:  This course includes instruction in ignition systems, fuel systems, exhaust systems, emission control systems, charging systems, braking systems, starting systems, and major engine operations.

 

Auto Repairs 3:  This course includes instruction to engine operation, diagnosis, and repair, including lubrication systems and cooling systems. Students will learn about the inspection, measurements, disassembly, repair, and reassembly of an engine.
